( Review ) Etude House Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream

Today i'll talk about my currently most used BB cream from Etude House, it's Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream!

I got this BB Cream from awhile ago, and have been using it everyday.

So let's take a look!  (´∇ﾉ｀*)ノ

Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream

Mine is in No.2 Light Beige

Description:

Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream promotes silky complexion and brightened look with Pearl Mineral Powder infused sheer coverage. Powerful UV protection and long lasting waterproof formula for all day outdoor protection. 

At first i want to try this BB cream because i don't have Sun Block. So i think BB Cream with a high SPF will be a good choice. Did you know that Sunlight contains UVA and UVB? UVA caused early aged skin and UVB caused sunburn and skin cancer. SPF only covered UVB protections, not UVA. so SPF alone is not enough to protect our skin, specially in Indonesia when the sun is so cruel.  (°◇°;)

So what will protect us from UVA? it's called PA ( Protection grade of UVA ). More "+" it have more good it is. It's similar with SPF, more high the number more longer it will protect us from UVB.

SPF 15 will gave us 150 minutes of sun protection, and SPF 50 gave us 500 minutes of sun protection. (❁´◡`❁)*✲ﾟ*

While PA+ provides some UVA protection and protects sensitive skin against low to medium UV radiation, PA++ provides moderate UVA protection and it offers better protection from UVA rays and can be used by people with normal skin exposed to medium UV radiation, PA+++ provides good UVA protection and it's the strongest grade of UVA protection now available. It is designed for normal skin under very strong or direct UV radiation.

This BB cream have SPF50+/PA+++, it give enough protection for a whole day. One more unique thing about this BB cream is, it has a sponge applicator that can be used for blending. But i rarely using it because i think i used up more product with it and it give a sheer coverage. So it's better to blend the BB cream with my hands.

As you can see, one layer of this BB cream already correct my skin color and covered most of my imperfection. I just need a little bit of concealer to cover up my dark circle and acne scar. The coverage is good enough that i only applied one layer, this will avoid cakey and thick makeup and give us a natural look instead. This BB cream last all day and i used it for swimming once and it stayed on my face really well! (without rubbing).

The only minus thing about this BB cream is the price is more expensive than the usual Precious Mineral BB cream, and the bottle is smaller? O_O

Pro:

- Good Coverage

- Have SPF50+/PA+++

Con:

- Sponge applicator is ratter useless

- Smaller quantity

- Expensive

( Review ) The Face Shop Face it Power Perfection BB Cream

today i'll do a quick review of The Face Shop Face it Power Perfection BB Cream in sample,
that i got from Kawaii Corner.

Description:

this BB cream providing total skin treatment to achieve a "power perfection skin"

by imparting proactive care to overall skin problems, including bagginess, roughness, and dryness.

this BB cream has SPF 37/PA++ which is pretty high for our protection from the sun.

the consistency of this BB cream is thick, and have medium - full coverage.

after blended it on my hand you can see that it covers all of dark spot on my hand

and make it looks brighter. 

Let's see the swatch on my face. My face is in a bad shape right now,

i got a lot of acne and acne scars because of my period, so i need a full coverage

BB cream to hide all the imperfection.

as you can see, it does covers the redness around my cheek,

but still need concealer to covers my acne. 

what i like about this BB cream,

it didn't feels heavy on my face, and after 10-15 minutes it will match my skintone.

the oil control is pretty good too, i already run out my favorite Skin79 Hot Pink BB cream, and after trying this sample i think i'll buy a full product. Because the coverage is better.

but after searching on the net i actually surprise because the full size product is

kinda expensive for me...around Rp 200.000 ++

i'll search for another alternative BB cream, and save money for this one.

Summary,

Pro:

- Great Coverage

- Great oil control

- Not feel heavy on skin

- Have SPF 37/PA ++

Con:

- A little bit expensive
